Kazakhstan, European Union identify priorities for cooperation

Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrisov had a meeting with representatives of the European Union to identify priority areas for cooperation in the framework of the Hungarian workshop, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reported. The sides have chosen three main areas of joint projects with Kazakhstan. The first sphere is liberalization of visa regimes or opening access to Europe for Kazakhstan airlines. The second priority is cooperation on the regional security connected to the withdrawal of NATO troops from Afghanistan. The third sphere is cooperation in energy sector, in particular transition to the green economy.
