Counterterrorism Measures and Civil Society

Please join the Human Rights Initiative for the launch of the new report: The Impact of Counterterrorism Laws and Measures on Civil Society: Changing the Will and Finding the Way. The report analyzes how counterterrorism efforts have diminished space for civil society, and examines its manifestations in various country contexts.
The launch event will feature a keynote speech by Fionnuala Ní Aoláin, UN Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while countering terrorism. This event will include a panel discussion moderated by Doug Rutzen, President and CEO of the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL).
