The Islamic State threat has delayed the initial delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Iraq, the Defense Department announced Monday. The first Iraqi-purchased F-16s will be sent to Tuscon, Arizona, instead of Balad Air Base, Iraq, DoD spokesman Army Col. Steven Warren said in a news release.

U.S. ambassador in Tunis Jacob Walles said during the ceremony held in the barracks of Aouina that the equipment delivered to Tunisia is worth $2 million (about 3.2 million Tunisian dinars).
